Lidong Zhang

Lidong Zhang is Chairman of ByteDance China and oversees its business operations and corporate functions. In addition, he oversees commercial systems and businesses of ByteDance, including advertising, ecommerce, local services, and vertical information and services platforms.

Lidong joined ByteDance in 2013. Prior to joining ByteDance, he worked as a financial journalist and was later in charge of ad operations for the same media outlet.
